Okay- back on schedule!
First things first... hello! Good to see you again. Well, not really see you, but you know what I mean. You do know what I mean- right?
Anyways, remember back when I posted about prioritizing your works so that you don't get caught up in too many at once? Well... I'm terrible at taking my own advice. I spent almost the entire day today in a Cafe drinking Coffee and writing. I got A LOT done. I'm not joking, I wrote about 10 whole chapters... collectively. Yeah, uh... I kind of managed to write ten whole chapters in six different novels. Not good. On the plus side, three of them were from the novel I'm supposed to be working on, but the rest were not.
So anyways, back to my tip- Go With The Flow.
So, yeah- I got little done today in the novel I should be working on but I did get a lot done.
Okay- maybe I was focusing on plots and stories that had absolutely nothing to do with the one I should be thinking about, but I got some serious inspiration for conflict and character development and resolving plot holes.
Alright- I ran away from my goal... again... but sometimes you have to run away from the goal to realize the path you were taking was a dead end.
So from now on... I will make no promises to you because I am terrible at following my head without my heart in the lead.
Oh- and check out my written works page. I dug up a gem and decided to give you a special snippet from a novel I wrote a few years ago. (No, you never saw it in a book store. I didn't even try to get it published... but maybe I should)
